This ink on yupo painting is an account of an everyday memory layered with the wonder my son and I experienced. I walked mindfully with my son to a friend of a friend’s art exhibit. On the way my son and I found beautiful foliage growing through and around the urban path. My son was so excited to pick the weeds and give them to me. He knows it brings me joy.
