When I was 18 months old I would sit on my parent’s chest and massage their eyebrows with my tiny thumbs and chant the word ‘calm’. They used to call me ‘Little Buddha’ when I did that. What I create has become of extension of my inherent motivation to help bring calm to those who need it. Making the work and looking at the finished pieces transports me to the present, relieving me of my worries of the past or the future..
